Japan is one of the famous country in Asia, which is known for its culture and people. It is a great tourist destiation and hence learning Japanese is a great addition to your resume. You can also do translator's job within your city, but you need to find out a good institute to learn it.
Two years ago, I was searching for a good institute to learn Japanese language as my first foreign language. As usual, I did a Google search and found few institutes based on their reviews and enrolled in one of them. The price was quite high which I realized later and also that institute in South-ex wasn't that good as they portrayed of themselves.
The teacher was knowledgable but it wasn't of any use to students as the classes weren't regular or the class duration wasn't proper as sometimes she was busy with other stuff or she had to go for some personal reasons. Anyways, it is not about the institue but to let you know about a good institute to learn any foreign language. The best way is to take admission in courses offered by the embassy of that country where you would mostly get native speakers to train you.
If you can' find the embassy offerring the course or you are not in the state then always go with the official institutes for the same. In case of Japanese, you can enroll for Japan Foundation's courses from the link below:

Incase you miss the deadlines for the upcoming batch then there is another institute MOSAI which is famous for its Japanese classes. You can find the relevant information from the link below:

It is always better to take admission in good institues and wait for the appropriate batches instead of wasting time in instiutes which are only running to get your money. Post that I learnt the lesson hard way and then always learn from the official institutes like Goethe and Alliance Française. I will share my experiences with those institutes in coming posts.
Do let us know about your favorite language and how did you learn it in the comments below 😇.
